Paperprison is the name of a series of books that I have created that illustrate various mental health ailments and stimuli. in the hopes to raise awareness of the ailments in question. These books started at the beginning of my BA in fine art (2016) as a form of expression in between creating sculptures and meeting various deadlines. The illustrations are created automatically through a form of automatism, which is later refined through various symbols and more personal artefacts embedded into them .
